We started as a small café tucked away in Joondalup, serving a menu rooted in flavour and guided by a deep respect for ingredients. From day one, we chose to do things differently. We reimagined and refined the existing flavor, wrapped into something new and exciting. We introduced bold drink options like pistachio and tiramisu lattes before they were trending. We listened to our customers, refined our craft, and built something that became more than just a place to eat, it became a part of the community.

LUCA is run by a tight-knit team of passionate foodies who believe in the power of a good meal to turn someone’s day around. We’re not here to be fancy for the sake of it. We’re here to be memorable. Everything we serve from our chilli scram and decadent brownies to our seasonal drinks and fresh-baked treats, is made with care, creativity, and a lot of heart.

And in 2025, our hard work was recognised in the best way: LUCA was nominated for not one, but two prestigious Gold Plate Awards for Best Unlicensed Café and Best Breakfast. These nominations are more than just industry recognition. They’re a celebration of our team, our loyal customers, and the spirit of innovation that drives us every single day.
